Customer Service Training

South Texas College is offering customer service training starting January 2008 due to the growing service and retail industry (by 2014 more than 20,000 new jobs will be created.) The National Customer Service Certification Program through STC's Partnership for Business and Industry Training is a six week program where students will learn critical skills including communication tactics, professionalism and customer relationship management.

How is customer service in the Valley? Is the importance of customer service stressed enough in the service and retail industry?
